Recommendations for Barbary Sheep

We do the majority of our Aoudad (Barbary Sheep) hunts in Texas, but we do guide public land Aoudad hunts in New Mexico in both areas available in the draw, units 29, 30 and Units 32, 36, 37. There are numerous hunt dates in each area. Pick the best three dates that work for your schedule.

2026 Price Sheet

Frontier Outfitting only applies its clients in the top units located in the state of New Mexico. The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish allows you three different hunt choices when applying. An applicant can mix dates and weapon choices to better their odds of drawing. On one application you can apply up to a party of four. Frontier Outfitting offers Wilderness Hunts, Tent Camps, Lodge and Cabin Hunts. Choose you hunt choices and indicate them on the application form. Please mark below from 1 – 3 your hunt choices. Wilderness, late rifle, muzzle loader and early bow hunts are the easiest hunts to draw. If you are not successful in the draw your license fee excluding a six dollar application fee will be refunded to you. These are trophy quality areas and we recommend that you keep applying until a tag is drawn. All hunts are subject to NM state tax (6.875%). A 50% deposit is required to book landowner tags and private land tags. A 50% deposit is required when you draw a tag. All deposits are non-refundable. Final payments are due 30 days prior to the start of the hunt. Please make all deposits, license fees, and final payments payable to Frontier Outfitting.
