Trophy Hunts

Frontier Outfitting and our good friends at High West Outfitters have partnered in Texas to bring our clients multiple different private ranches totaling over 1,500,000 acres of exceptional free range hunts—a true sheep paradise! Many species are available, with our focus being on trophy Barbary Sheep (also known as Aoudad).

Spring Hunts

We offer spring hunts typically from February to  April. We offer a 1×1 guided 3 ½ day package. During the spring hunts we will be hunting bachelor groups of Rams. Usually the only other species we hunt during those spring Aoudad hunts are mountain lion or Red Sheep. Contact us for more information on other hunting opportunities in combination with these Aoudad hunts.

Groups

We are capable of running hunts for any group up to 8.

Our customers will receive top care in camp and experienced guides in the field to ensure comfort and success.

Location

Our hunts are located in west Texas near Van Horn, Valentine, Marfa and Alpine. When you book a hunt, we will discuss the options each ranch has to offer to fit your personal needs. Each ranch boasts a large population of Barbary Sheep, with excellent trophy opportunities. Some ranches offer a tougher, more challenging hunt, while another may offer a more relaxed hunt.
